Suzy Mehlhorn, MSCJA
   As an Educational Specialist at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, Suzy Mehlhorn is dedicated to disseminating tools of current technology to faculty in order to facilitate and enhance their teaching experience, whether online, hybrid, or face-to-face. Currently, Suzy holds recurring sessions at the Center for Teaching Excellence on such topics as Get Googly for Google Forms!, Get Googly for Google Sites!, Gmail Tips & Tricks, plus various sessions related to technology and productivity in the classroom.
    Employed at the UH Mānoa since 2000, Suzy has, during that time, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, and in 2009, she graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a strong focus on leadership, teamwork, and Organizational Behavior practiced throughout successful state agencies.
    Since 2004, she has been a key team member with numerous contributions to the Center for Teaching Excellence and Faculty Mentoring Program, including creating the department websites cte.hawaii.edu, fmp.hawaii.edu and ofdas.hawaii.edu. She has added several focused websites including:

    Since 1992, Suzy has embraced computers and online technology when she constructed and managed the online Bulletin Board System (BBS) Asylum out of Pearl City, Hawai’i. Before the internet as we know it was available, she imported FidoNet newsgroups for locals to read online. A total of 3 people could be logged in her BBS at once, which was unheard of at that time! In 1994, Suzy constructed and actualized Lua-uhane MUD, an online multi-user dimension reality game populated by 100 plus simultaneous users from locations worldwide.
